This market started with a small group of vendors selling a few products from China on the sidewalk, near some Chinese restaurants and their Social Club. (1) In time the amount of vendors and costumers grew and the neighbors complained about it, so the Chinese Association decided to organize the business every Sunday on their Social Club's patio. (2)(3) About fifty years had passed since then, now a variety of costumers attend every Sunday to find fresh Chinese vegetables, meat, bakery goods, as well as canned food, music, videos, clothing and much more from China.(4)
